The Hayes family! Some of you have been praying for their safe arrival from Honduras. Yesterday while I was at the doctors in the city, they completed their five-day drive to Mitla. You can read their account of the journey on their blog: http://thehayeszoo.blogspot.com/ Alan's humorous version of the trip will make you smile.
Faith is nervous that she and her children will become fodder for my blog. That's possible. Mostly I'll let her tell her stories on her own blog, and I'll refer you back to the Hayes Zoo from time time time on my blog. They are an amazing family with many gifts to add to the missionary community here. Personally I am blessed by their sense of humor even amid the most tortuous situations like transitioning from one culture to another.
Thanks for your prayers for the Alan and Faith and their kids. Keep thinking of them as they settle in and get to know Oaxaca, and learn their way around the recording ministry as well. We are honored to have them as partners in reaching the unreached....

We love you guys too. :)
I knew being fodder would be part of the package. I just hope it doesn't ever encompass too many police incidents or explosions.
