Changing things around a bit

My blog has been uncharacteristically silent these past few weeks. In the meantime I have been pondering how to reformat it or change it altogether. The hodge-podge affect is starting bug me. I want to clean it up and have different topic headings between my memories of the early years, my current musings and lessons in life, and our ministry updates. Maybe I should have three separate blogs. I don't know. Photos would be a fourth one yet.

Our ministry webpage was disabled for a while, and I'm getting it back in order. If anyone has suggestions, I'd be open to hearing them either here or via email. Just keep in mind I need something super simple.

Later I will post some photos from my time in California with Mike and Hannah, and of a recent trip to a village with a visiting team from Michigan. I've been busy this month! Hope to write more soon.

I've lately been pondering the same thing about my own blog, but short of moving to WordPress (which allows page tabs at the top for separate pages), I'm at a loss.

Maybe utilize labels and make those three things your labels. So, a post would get "memories" or "life lessons/current musings" or "ministry update" as the label.

On your sidebar, choose to display those three labels.(that option is under the add elements page...)

Then, even though your postings would be chronological, readers could easily get to whichever category they wanted. And you'd feel you were filing it away properly.

Or something like that. My problem is re-labeling all my old posts : )

I've done what Heather has suggested on my blog so I can link to all my gardening, or field trips or...

But various friends have said they like the hodge podge and I have to confess I do too. I'd be unlikely to subscribe and read to four blogs but enjoy the various posts I see.

Hi to the Lokers from Peter's Creek in Pgh. It's fall now and the leaves are gorgeous colors all around. I bought a couple of pumpkins to decorate my front flower beds. It's Indian Summer(71 degrees today). This is my favorite time of year.
I have such a good time reading your blog Jamie. I especially liked the one about time perceptions (Hermano Santiago, so he's not home). I'm sharing that one with our sunday school class even though it's not the most recent.
My husband Joe is just returning Sat. from a business trip to south China. It's been a long 2 weeks. I don't have kids at home anymore but still manage to be very busy. I'm very involved with Christian Wm's Club. We have monthly dinner outreaches and tonight is one of them. We're having a bake sale and I made 10 quarts of homemade soup to sell(mainly to the working moms). I hope You are well. If You have new prayer requests let them be known. It's fun getting to know you via the blog. Mary Jo Baldauff
