Other highlights were:
Visiting my friend, Sue Hood, in Redlands, and playing duets together just like old times in Mitla

Meeting Sue's daughter, Michele, who was adopted since the last time we were together
Not pictured, but another highlight was hearing Hannah play the piano for the residents of an assisted living center not far from her apartment. One of the residents was a concert violinist, who played an impromptu duet with Hannah. I was turning pages for Hannah while she played "Clair de Lune" and actually cried. It was so good to hear her play again after ten months without her music filling our house! I'm thankful that she is using her music to bless others.
Mike's very international apartment. Notice the clocks with various times around the world. His roommate makes the best homemade chai tea, which we drank while sitting on the "couch" with cushions around the coffee table.
Hannah and I got to visit the Ronald Reagan Library, which was a huge thrill for me. Reagan remains my all-time favorite president. I loved learning more about him. He was buried right in Simi Valley, where Hannah is living, working, and attending classes and church
Here's something not likely to be seen in a future Obama Library!
I was a poll-watcher as a college Republican on election day 1980, so this was neat to see again
He always was bigger than life...
Another highlight was walking through Airforce One, which wasn't quite the thrill I had imagined it to be. I had more fun reading love letters he had written his wife.
I have more photos, but it's getting late and I don't want to bore you to sleep!
Thanks again, Hannah, Mike, and Sue for the great hospitality. I'm so glad I went.
