My journal is full, but my blog is empty. I'm debating whether I should post more of my writings here. In the meantime, here are two favorite photos from 2008, taken during spring break when both Mike and Chris came down. Now I am facing a quiet Thanksgiving with only four children at home. All three older boys (along with Heidi, of course!) will be together in Canada for American Thanksgiving this year. That will be fun for them.
Only Mike will be coming for Christmas, since Chris is using his vacation time over Thanksgiving instead. Then January 2nd, Hannah flies to the Philippines. Then the house will really be empty. Is it even worth cooking for only three children? Then I might come back and start blogging again more regularly.
So, which photo should we use for a new prayer card? The close-up, or the family in a line? I asked this in an email and got an answer I didn't like. Maybe we can print two different cards to please everyone....

Well stop debating and certainly start posting more of your writings on this blog! You always make me smile (or laugh out loud) so I for one would love to read more.
I really like the picture of all of you in a line...it really is very prayer cardish....
