What MKs hate

Among other things, Missionary kids hate being paraded to the front of a church to be put on exhibit.  At least mine always did.  As parents, we were always blessed when a whole church would gather together to lay hands on us and pray over our family and ministry.

Here are some photos of one memorable prayer time at a church in Georgia.

Look a little closer.  One Loker didn't seem to mind the extra attention.  Parents have eyes closed, while someone in the congregation took a photo of the preschoolers with eyes wide open.  Debbie was playing peek-a-boo behind the see-through podium.

So where was Bekah when these photos were taken?  She must be hiding behind the woman in red.

Anyway, ask any MK how they like these types of situations.  They'll tell you.

My kids would second this for sure. If I even mention such a proposition, they roll their eyes big time!
